One more depending on a prayer, And we all look away, People pretending everywhere, It's just another day.
Alia raised an eyebrow at Xenos' words, a hint of confusion dancing across her features as she examined Xenos. "Must've been some home." Alia said softly, shaking her head. He was a stranger, and yet, she felt like there was a lot more to his story than what he was telling her. She couldn't begin to dream of the true extent of his life, but still, Alia felt empathy stirring in her chest. She wanted to reach out and hug Xenos, but something stayed her hands, and instead, Alia sighed and looked around.
She had never really liked this area, to be honest. There was so much pain and suffering and she was just Cetra enough that she could feel the haunting echoes of it calling across the years. She shuddered slightly, turning her gaze towards Xenos, eager to distract herself and to pry a little bit more into his life.
Hey, curiosity may have killed the cat, but Alia wasn't exactly a cat, was she? "Where are you from, Xenos?" Alia asked almost hesitantly, examining him carefully. There was nothing about him that seemed familiar, but something about him reminded her of someone. Alia simply couldn't put her finger on it. But it was probably just his father. Alia had met him once. Only once - he hadn't cared enough to come visit her again. Just another reminder of how worthless she was. There wasn't even a Turk guard over their household anymore.
But she shook her head, driving the fog of selfpity away. This was why she was going to kill Sephiroth. So that the world would remember that Zack and Aerith had a daughter and that even though she wasn't Cetra enough, she could still save the world, like her parents before her. The thought made a smile curl across her lips and Alia glanced once more at Xenos.
Celit nodded, looking almost proud as he walked contentedly behind Taikoa. "That's good. At least one of us was." There was a soft chuckle following his words and Celit glanced absently down at the ground, his feet leaving footprints in the thick dust in the area. No one had touched this place in years and it was obvious that, in this place forgotten by time, there was no one here.
They could have stayed here for years and Celit doubted even a day would pass in the outside world. As weird as it sounded, this place just seemed that timeless to him. It was creepy, in a way, but he still wandered behind Taikoa contentedly. It was only when she spoke to him again that he stopped, his eyes closing for a moment. There was a wash of gratitude in his mind, and Celit opened his eyes to glance earnestly at the fortune teller. "Thank you." He said softly, smiling slightly. "Thank you." He repeated solemnly, nodding his head.
It was the knowledge that at least one person thought it was all right that he was scared that gave him the courage to stride on, a new determination stirring in his mind. They would defeat Sephiroth. Maybe not alone. They weren't their parents, after all. But they could do it. Sephiroth would not destroy the world that he loved so dearly. Not when he had just met a beautiful woman, not when he had his whole life ahead of him. And already, in the secret recesses of his mind, a new thought was beginning to form.
Maybe this fortune teller, who understood him so well and had met him only hours before, could be a companion for the rest of his life. And that didn't sound half bad.
Meanwhile, far away from her friends, Roxine glanced at her sister, shaking her head slightly. She was hesitant to get the older woman involved in her affairs. It wasn't something that Sidra would ever be able to . . . relate to. Sidra was not Sephiroth's sister. She never would be. There was nothing that tied Sidra to Sephiroth and yet, that wouldn't save her when Sephiroth came knocking to destroy his father. Which meant that Roxine was damn well going to destroy him before then.
"Me and Ceol need to ask Dad something." Roxine settled on saying at last, "It's nothing too big, but I needed to ask him as soon as I could." Roxine paused, making sure Sidra was busy grabbing her weapon before she turned towards Ceol and gestured towards the house. "I'll see ya in a bit, though!" Roxine called over her shoulder and hurried inside.
Her mother stood inside and Roxine waved distractedly to her, a bright (and fake) smile on her face. "Hey Mom!" She called, "We're just passing through but I think me and Ceol'll be here for dinner, so plan for two extra people!" With that hurried statement out of the way, Roxine continued on her merry way, pushing the back door open hurriedly and almost shoving Ceol through it.
"Sorry about that." Roxine said with a snort. "I just don't really want them to be asking questions. It's not something I want to . . . burden them with, I guess?" Roxine shrugged, not really sure how else to explain it. "But Dad will probably be back here. He's got himself a little shed about half a mile out and he likes to spend time there when it's sunny. Not sure why. It's something about the weather that makes him more anti-social than usual." With that rambling out of the way, Roxine glanced at Ceol almost nervously. "You ready for this?" She wasn't sure she was. But there was no time for Rox to coddle herself. She would do what had to be done.
Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah, We must stand together, Hey, yeah, yeah, hey, yeah, There's no giving in.

Xenos was slightly grinning to himself as he walked up a few stairs, the same stairs that once led to the pod that had his genetic mother. Jenova's old pod was just at the top of the stairs. Yet, her body was long gone. Destroyed by himself, and the reminants that once plagued the land years before.
"Where?" He asked as he turned to look at Lia again. He snickered. THere was no point in denying the truth. "Here. In this building." He snickered again and kept wanding up the stairs. He just wanted to see that place once again. The place where Cloud had originally tried to destroy him. The place where he had taken Jenova's head.
Taikoa hummed slightly as her white eyes went unfocused. There was nothing important to really see at the moment. Just, walls and old parts of dead things. Sure, the energy was dark and painful in this place, but that was really all. "Master Celit," Taikoa turned to walk backwards and look at her new companion. "What was your favorite story as a child?" She asked, slightly random. She was just curious, and she figured it would be good to help get their minds off of what they were really doing. After all, it wasn't like they were in the labs just yet.
Sidra wandered silently after her sister, then snickered and shifted into the wolf form that she inherited from her mother and raced to that place before their father's hideout. She cut them off and shifted back and tapped her leg with one of her Black Suns. "Damn, Roxine. A little hasty? Must I remind you that I am a Turk? I can get you any details about Sephiroth. Or did you finally find out about Mama's past? Or something else? Talk to me Roxy. Let me help and don't get them involved." She motioned to the direction that Vincent's shed was. She didn't want to get them involved again. "They don't need to worry about it," She hummed slightly as she reached back and scratched her back with her weapon.
Ceol was about to answer Roxy when he saw the red wolf creature that was Sidra, and he closed his mouth and listened to her, then looked at Rox. "Roxy," He whispered, trying to keep Sidra out of this. "Isn't your father the type to want to get involved if you even just ask him something like this? Isn't this going to make him think that he will NEED to help?" He muttered as his bi-blue eyes narrowed slightly then dialated with hidden thoughts.

They tell us everything's alright, And we just go along, How can we fall asleep at night, When something's clearly wrong?
Alia's breath came in a sharp inhalation, looking carefully at the figure who stood before her as she reexamined the figure before her. And of course, came to pretty much the same conclusion. He was a handsome stranger who had had a painful life. Alia could feel her heart going out to him in that moment, however. Growing up in this place couldn't be . . . pleasant. This was not a home. It was a place where experiments were performed, where scientists became famous, but a home? No. This was far from that.
Padding after Xenos carefully, Alia wandered behind him, still looking at him curiously. "And what was it like?" Alia asked at last, still wandering easily behind him. Now she was curious, more than anything. She wanted to learn about Xenos' life, to see if he was worth keeping around. Sure, he was handsome, but that didn't mean much, as snappy as she'd gotten with Roxine over him. And she was curious. She hated not knowing things and planned on taking this time to find out more about Xenos. He was a curious figure. And handsome. She couldn't forget that part.
Alia bit back a giggle and wandered forward, picking her way over discarded shards of glass and through the thick dust. An occasional sneeze on her part marked their progress as she wandered just behind Xenos.
Celit hummed to himself absently as he made his way along, hesitating only when Taikoa spoke. He stopped for a moment, considering her words as he tilted his head slightly to the side. "I think that my favorite story... Was probably anything about my father's achievements." Celit said at last. "My mother, well, she loved to talk about them. She was always in shock about how a man like him fell in love with a girl like her. And that meant that, even after having a kid with him, she was still in awe of him, in a sense. And she talked about them a lot, so I've always associated stories about my dad with time spent with her." Celit groaned slightly, glancing at Taikoa, "But that was probably a bit more than you wanted to know, huh?" He laughed, mostly to himself as he examined his companion absently, coming to the distant realization that hey, he didn't really know much about her, and she knew a rather large amount about him.
And yet, Celit couldn't find himself to be worried about that. Instead he shrugged it off and smiled absently, "Sorry about that." He said absently, still examining the area. There wasn't anything that looked like labs yet, but he wanted to keep an eye out for things, just in case.
Roxine hadn't noticed the approaching lupine form of her sister until she waltzed right in front of them. Groaning internally, she resisted the urge to smack her forehead right then and there. Sidra was too curious for her own good. She huffed as Sidra began to speak, shaking her head almost as soon as her sister opened her mouth. "I'm not involving you in this. They're not going to worry." Roxine growled. "And neither are you. We'll be fine." They all would, right? She couldn't shake the feeling that twisted in her gut that she was making the wrong decision by trying to handle this herself but it wasn't like she had any other choices. She had been the one who lead this so that Sidra wouldn't have the chance to. So that Sidra wouldn't be on the front lines. So that her parents wouldn't lose their favorite daughter (which was quite possibly untrue but as far as Roxine thought it was entirely true).
She shot Ceol an irritated look as he spoke to her, "Maybe you're right. But I'm not getting her involved in this." Roxine hissed in reply. "I promised I'd protect her." She muttered, this one more to herself than to Ceol. "Dad can handle not getting involved. We can keep it subtle; he won't guess why we're asking him." Would he? The doubt that danced through her mind seemed determined to sabotage her, and Roxine sighed heavily.
Finally she examined Sidra, eyes narrowing consideringly. "And if I asked you to find out one thing for us, would you stay out of it? Would you just find the information and not try to get involved?" Roxine knew her sister. Sidra might very well get bored one day and decide to join their gang. And Roxine was determined to ensure that that never happened.
The right thing to guide us, Is right here inside us, No one can divide us, When the light is nearly gone, But just like a heartbeat, The drumbeat carries on.

Xenos looked over back at Alia. Did she really not get who he waS? Wow, she really was an idiot. He shook his head slightly and kept walking up the stairs. He wasn't going to hide anymore. Now that he knew he could really handle this girl. If she couldn't figure out who he was by now, then he REALLY would have no problem keeping her under his control.
"Ahh, How brilliant it was, for a while that is. I was the hero. I was in control of this place. The scientists and heads would all go home and tell their children bedtime stories about me. About my greatness. Then Hollander had to tell Angeal and Genesis about their pasts. Had to tell everyone about Projects A, G and METLAM," He reached the top of the stairs, and stood infront of the old metal door that led to the pod that once held Jenova. Ahh, so many memories. "That was when I found out about my own past." He looked over his shoulder, just slightly, looking out of the corner of his eyes. His pupils narrowed into slits for a moment as he inspected Lia.
He finally started to peel the false skin off of the life-stream scars on his arms. "Lia, do you really not know who I am?" He asked with a hiss. He turned around to face her as he let his magic, what little remained of it, create his blade in his hand. Once it was fully there once more, he jammed the tip into the concrete and looked at Lia, daring her to freak out on him.
Taikoa smiled and kept walking backwards, grinning up at Celit for a moment, then letting out a soft, amused giggle. "That's really cute, actually," She admitted with a slight rose color sneaking into her pale cheeks. She then shook her head at his apology. "I asked. It's nice to know you all were so close. A lot of people I meet have beaten pasts. It is nice to meet people with... Whole emotions, really," She smiled more, then turned and walked forward once more, acting like there was nothing else she had to say. Of course, now that she was kind of "stuck" with someone, and wasn't reading their futures, she could have talked Celit's ear off. Her heart felt light and free, and she wanted to know all about him, and hear so many stories. But, she knew now wasn't really the time. Maybe after all of this, she could get him to tell her a bunch of stories that he had been told. Oh, to think! How fun it would be to sit around a camp fire with him, Master Ceol and Master Ceol's friend, Roxy. That would be a fun time! It would be like being with her bandwagon again.
"You think there really will be something that we can find? I mean.... It has been years since this place has been in order...." She looked into a room as they passed it. All that was left in it were the shells of the bullets and a few scraps of weapons or armor.
Sidra raised her eyebrows and cocked her head slightly. "Really? Don't want me involved? Please." Sidra laughed for a moment. "The moment Rumors of Sephiroth returning started to spread, the Turks were put into action. I have been at Mako labs DAILY to watch for him. I had my head INJECTED with scents so I know what he smells like when I am in my Metlam form. Don't tell me you don't want me involved Roxine Neba Valentine. I have killed damned scientists because they have been planning to help that damned bastard that shares your bloodline. Dammit Roxine!" Sidra snarled slightly, which, awkwardly made Ceol step back. "I am your Goddammed Sister! I don't want to bring Mom and Vince into this, and I know you don't either! I can get fucking entry into ANY damned lab and library in this country. I am licensed to kill people at my leasure. And you want to tell me that you promised to protect me? Your older sister? YOu're telling me that you want me to NOT get involved?" Sidra took a deep breath in, and fell silent for a moment. She really did have her mother and father's attitude and anger limit.
In the silence, she could see the colors of the air's sound dance in her blind eye. The soft blues danced like water through her blindness. It was calming and she took a few more deep breaths before looking back at Roxy and Ceol. "Forgive my explosion. But you must realize what a resource I can be. Bringing Vince into this will just bring mom into it. Which then will bring in Cloud. We all know that it will go down hill from there. Avalanche will save the day again, and No credit. No glory. No pride for us. We will just be the children of that generation. The generation that can't do anything for ourselves," Sidra leaned to the side slightly and crossed her arms as her fingers fiddled with one of her weapons.
Ceol leaned onto Roxy's back slightly. "I do want to redeem my father..." He muttered, then backed away from her so he wouldn't get hit. It was the truth. It was half the reason he was helping. Well, Roxy was of course the other half, but to redeem the Rhapsodos name... that would be brilliant.

They got one eye watching you, One eye, what you do? So be careful what it is you’re tryin’ to do, And be careful when you’re walking into view, Just be careful when you’re walking into view.
Alia tilted her head, listening silently to his words. And as Xenos continued, she slowly put the pieces that she had been deliberately ignoring for so long together. It was a nasty truth that stared her in the eyes, that she though she knew the man that stood before her. The man who had seemed so kind at first (was it really all an act) was a killer, a man she had sworn to kill. Alia examined him, determined to at least give him a chance to explain. To say that she was wrong, that she had guessed wrong, that he was someone else all together.
There was an almost panicked edge to her thoughts as Alia took half-step back, watching with wide eyes as he peeled . . . skin from his arms? She had no clue that it was false skin and itm ade her leap a step back. She wasn't squeamish, per say, but this was disgusting. He was just peeling skin off of his arms. But still she clung desperately to the thought that maybe he wasn't the man she had sworn to herself she would kill. Though if she couldn't handle him pulling his skin off she probably couldn't handle killing him. Especially not now that she had seen what was beneath that shell (had she really, though?).
The doubt echoing in her thoughts had them chasing themselves in circles, only giving her relief when he pulled the sword out. That was when her self-preservation instincts finally started to kick in. Alia took a deep breath, pulling some sort of ability to lie out of her ass. "Pretty hard to miss, with that sword you're waving around." She said slowly, glancing around carefully. She had no gun on her body, no way to fight back. And to be honest, Alia was slightly afraid. Sephiroth was no known for his mercy.
There was nothing of use. Shards of glass littered the floor, sure, but they weren't exactly effective weapons. But maybe this could be a battle she could fight with words. "Tell me, how does it feel to pretend to be the son of Rufus Shinra?" Alia asked at last, one eyebrow arched as she examined him. She doubted there was going to be any sort of rescue coming any time soon. She had no clue where anyone else was but she wasn't too bothered by it, in all honesty. He was Sephiroth but in Alia's mind, she still half considered him to be Xenos, the handsome stranger and she almost doubted that he would kill her.
Celit had to chuckle at Taikoa's words, shaking his head easily. He was unaware of the trouble that was going on mere moments ago, and instead was blissfully content in the presence of this interesting fortuneteller. "You say that this time, but just wait until you get me going about my family." Celit said brightly, running one hand through spikey blonde hair before continuing. "It loses its cuteness swiftly." Celit said with a snort.
Still, he fell silent moments later to listen to her continue. "Well, my life was far from . . . average. It wasn't perfect. And growing up in the shadow of your father isn't the best way to live. But I think all of my friends have had issues with that, if you dig deep enough. Rox is the poster child for that." Celit said absently, mostly just thinking aloud. "But I've had it good. So I suppose it doesn't surprise me that we have 'whole emotions.'" Celit smiled again, shaking his head absently. Unlike most of the 'group,' Celit was less motivated by living up to their parents' legacy than the rest of them. Of course it was there, lurking like an ugly secret just beneath the surface. But it wasn't as much of a motivation as it was for him as it was for some of his companions.
Shaking his head again, Celit exhaled heavily. "I think there's no harm in looking, honestly. If we don't look we definitely won't find anything." Celit said, peering into a room as they wandered past it. Nothing of value in there, as always. "But no, I don't really think we'll find anything. If there were any offices, they were ransacked long ago." Celit said with a sigh. The work of the experiments that had been performed here, for sure. But there was no help that.
Roxine listened to Sidra's tirade in silence. There wasn't much that she could say to it. Most of it was true. Despite Roxine's best efforts, Sidra was involved in this battle. And that was exactly why she had taken up the mantle of leader in this battle. So that Sephiroth would die by her hand before he touched her sister. The determination in her thought let her listen in silence, even as Sidra's words were like a punch in a gut.
"That damned bastard that shares your bloodline." They echoed in her head long after Sidra had stopped talking, and Roxine shook her head violently. It was a vicious (if accidental) reminder of the fact that he was, in fact, tied to her. That he was the one closest to her in this world and he was a mass murderer that she was planning on killing. Well, if that wasn't a sobering thought, Roxine didn't know what was. And it was funny how after all this time, no one noticed how much that affected her. Sephiroth was her brother. He haunted her dreams--
And hell, Sidra was done talking. Roxine pushed her hair out of her eyes and shook her head again, driving the fog of self-pity from her mind. "To be quite honest I would rather chance that than put you in danger." Roxine snapped, taking a deep breath herself. "You're my sister. You should understand that much. I'm not going to let you get involved in the nasty affair that is Sephiroth. He's my brother, not yours." Irritation evident in her voice, Roxine shook her head again. "But if you want to get information, be my guest. But it's not going to change anything. You will not fight Sephiroth." And that was that. Sidra was not going to join their gang any time soon.
Tossing an amused glance over her shoulder, Roxine had to laugh. It was an unexpected reaction, but she had already spent most of her anger snapping at her sister. "Fine. We won't involve my father in this." She said at last. "But this changes nothing." A compromise that she would allow no further compromises on. Sidra would not be involved in this battle. Neither would any of the rest of them, but they didn't need to know that. Not yet, anyways.
But don’t believe a word, It’s just us against the world, And we just gotta turn to be heard, I hear the crocodiles ticking ’round the world, I hear those crocodiles ticking, they go ticking ’round the world.

Sephiroth smiled slightly and cocked his head to the side. He watched her face, inspecting it. He took in every little change that hinted at her changed mind. Not that it seemed to change much at all. Did she really still believe that "Xenos" was a part of him? And not just an act? She really was foolish.
As she spoke, he put his sword in its sheith and crossed his arms as he watched her. His eyes were still sharply aimed at her, watching her, but he was not worried about what she would do. If he needed to, he would kill her on the spot. But, that wasn't what he had planned for now. Maybe in a few hours he would change his mind, but for now, he was pretty sure he could still use her.
"Quite disgusting, actually. I would have been happier to be associated with Lizzard, but he died quite a few years ago," He snorted. At least Lizzard had been part of the Soldier group. He had been a good man. Then again, so had he. Everything changes with time.
"Now, Dear Lia. You are going to do something for me. You are going to do all that I say. If you want it in your "cute" terms, you are going to be my Minion," He approched her and spoke with a soft voice as he looked down at her, his hair still plastered flat under his hat. "'But what will I get?' you may ask. Your payment will be life. Nothing sweeter, afterall. You will be that survivor, just like your father. We can even stage out a death for you," He hummed slightly and smiled ever so slightly again. "Or I could just kill you right now and fool your friends that a beast still lived back in these corridors. After all, beasts do still haunt this building," He took his sword out and slapped a pod, making the room echo with the loud, sharp sound. A creature hissed and scuttled out of behind the pod and ran down the stairs. What ever it was, it was the size of a large dog, and held an oddly human form as it ran on its four legs, away, growling. "You stay here alone, and they will get you. You get wounded... they will make a quick meal of you. They only stay back because they know me. I defeated their ancestors back when I was a soldier, for training. They never forget things like that," He snickered again as he sheithed his sword again and stood tall. "So? What will it be, Lia?" He looked her over again and snorted to himself. "I see the Puppy's blood in you, but I see no Aerith. You sure Aerith is your mother?" He looked her down again. She just seemed to hold no traces of Certa blood in her. Even a tiny trace should be able to be seen... but nothing was there. Interesting.
Taikoa smiled and shrugged. "You say this, but remember who I typically deal with. I don't get my daily doses of Cuteness, so I am lacking a good vitamin!" the fortune teller giggled slightly and turned back around to walk ahead. She listened to him, but didn't say anything for the longest time as she turned into small rooms, walked around for a moment, then walked back into the hall with Celit. She shrugged and shook her head before he could ask if there was anything in there.
"When I joined Master Ceol, I was hoping for more adventure," She muttered softly as she brushed her shirt down and smoothed it slightly. "Can we go back yet, Master Celit? I really don't think there will be anything. Theres nothing but bullet shells down here. If there really was something left from that woman, don't you think Miss Roxine's father would have gotten it all?" She asked as she looked over her shoulder at him.
Sidra stood there, unamused. The gears were turning in her head, and she was already deep in plans. "I will be fighting him one way or another. There is nothing you can do to change that," She muttered softly as she clipped her weapons to her hips and stretched. "But, if you want information, we must go to base as soon as possible. I left my keys there, and once Dad leaves, well, we will have to wait until tomorrow afternoon to get back in." She started to walk back towards the house. "What ever happened to us saying that we would never let eachother fight alone?" She muttered under her breath with irritation.
She got half way back to the house when she turned. "COME ON! WE ALREADY ARE GONNA' HAVE TO SPEED!" She barked. "What's going on Si?" Sidra turned to see their mother walking in their direction. "Oh, nothing. Just have to run back to work to get something for Rox. We may not be back tonight, sorry." She said as she smiled at the Metlam. Alicia nodded and forced out a smile. She knew that there was more going on than what Sidra was saying, but she didn't push it. She knew the two girls all too well. She would just go rant to Vincent once they left, as she often did.

When you try your best, but you don't succeed, When you get what you want, but not what you need, When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep, Stuck in reverse.
Alia bit her tongue to avoid smiling at Sephiroth's words, glancing studiously at the ground. He sounded rather human, showing emotions like disgust. And it would be gone in moments, Alia was sure. He was something other than human. Not necessarily more or less than human, but something other. Perhaps it was his time in the Lifestream that had done it. Or maybe he had always been this weird.
Sighing as he started talking again, Alia nibbled on her lip absently as she listened to Sephiroth lay out the terms that would decide whether or not she would live or die. She tilted her head slightly, curiosity stirring. What did he have to gain from having her as a 'minion?' Probably very little, to be honest. But if he thought she would be helpful and that was all that was keeping her alive, well, she wasn't going to complain. Especially not with him this close to her. Even with him threatening her life, he was pretty cute. Too bad she was going to kill him. Maybe. She planned on it, anyways. But life had a way of ruining the best laid plans.
Alia sighed, shaking her head as she glanced at Sephiroth once more. "I'm pretty sure I could handle the monsters." She muttered irritably. If she'd had a gun, she would have made swift work of them. But instead she was stuck here at the mercy of Sephiroth, who could easily destroy her no matter how good of a sharpshooter she was. "But it's not like I have much of a choice." She shrugged slightly, "It shouldn't surprise you that, like my father, I am a survivor and I choose you."
His next words, however, had her bristling slightly. Alia glared at the man, her eyes narrowing slightly. "I'm sure." She huffed irritably. "Why wouldn't she be?" It was mostly a rhetorical question, but that was pretty rude. Alia was pretty damn sure that her mother was her mother. It would be pretty hard to fool Zack otherwise, after all.
Celit wandered along happily, shaking his head in amusement at Taikoa's silly words. "Too much of the best vitamins is bad, though." He countered with a grin, "So I think it's safe to say that you don't need me to get going about my family." It was amusing to Celit that people could think things like talking about family were cute. But then Taikoa didn't exactly come from an average home, from what she'd told him. And neither had he. So he had no right to be judging. Celit just grinned to himself as he walked along, humming absently and softly as they made their way.
Celit glanced at the fortuneteller, amusement fading. "I'm sure that adventure is coming." He said softly. "Things are heating up." Celit said absently, tilting his head as he slowed to a stop. "Yeah, we might as well. I suppose that if you'd like I can explain some of our plans to you? Or something along those lines while we wait for Alia and her guest to reappear." Celit nodded to himself as he turned and prepared to head back upstairs, glancing over his shoulder at Taikoa.
Tuning out Sidra's half muttered words, Roxine focused on the words that were directed at her, not the ones that she couldn't quite make out. "We can't wait that long, Si." Roxine said firmly, shaking her head slightly, "So let's get a move on, shall we?" Roxine tossed a glance at Ceol, before turning and padding after Sidra, breaking into a jog as her sister began to shout, shaking her head in amusement.
It went against every grain in her body to let her sister help with this, but it couldn't be avoided. So Roxine waved as she made her way past her mother, "Sorry I can't stick around, Mom." Rox called absently as she passed, hurrying along behind Sidra.
She reached the bikes and made her way towards hers with a grin. Riding her motorbike was on e of her favorite things in the world. She was being spoiled by all of this bike riding. It made it easy to forget all the shit that was going on at this moment.
And the tears come streaming down your face, When you lose something you can't replace, When you love someone, but it goes to waste, Could it be worse?

Sephiroth smiled slightly. He knew the path she would probably choose, and he was always right. Of course, when she spoke the words, his grin faded. Of course, he was right again. How wonderful. He was always one step ahead of her, of everyone. He would always be. He was Sephiroth the killer after all.
"Good choice," He hummed softly as his eyes narrowed and she started to snap at him. No. He really still couldn't see it. There was nothing in her that screamed Cetra. Hmm. Surely this was something he wasn't wrong about. No, he couldn't be. Surely this girl was just hiding in the dark. She was just hidden from the truth as so many others are and have been.
"Fine." he muttered as he started to think about what their first order of business should be. Ahh, yes. Materia. But who was the child of Yuffie? Hell. Who could stand Yuffie long enough to have a child with her? The only man that could stand such.... Energy.... Was the one that fathered himself, and he clearly had his sights on a more.... interesting... being. "You must know where the Materia keeper is. YOu will lead me there. TOnight." He snarled softly as he looked at Alia. Surely she wasn't stupid enough to fight with him on the first task he gave her.
Taikoa shrugged. She really didn't care what was talked about, she just didn't like sitting in the silence. "What ever floats your boat, Master Ceol," She said happily as she caught up to him. "I still do not like the vibe that her... guest... gives off though. He's a bit different...." She then paused to think about her own words. "Not that I should be judging," She added a moment later. Really, she had no room to judge. Just look at her, she had scars galor, with interesting tattoo like marks all over her body. Really, she could not judge. Yet, there was just something that bothered her. She wanted to see him one more time... Just to see if she could put her finger on what was off about him.
Sidra felt slightly guilty for brushing their mother off, but she knew that Alicia would get over it. She didn't have a bike, but she wandered to the front of the house and into the garage and soon was backing down the drive in her small speedy car that she got from work. It was black with a few sliver marks on it and a plate on it that showed she was a Turk. She rolled down the window, Nodded to Roxine, then hit the gas.
She threw the car into park and killed the engine. She didn't even wait or look to see if Roxine and Ceol had kept up. Instead, she was trotting up the stairs that led to the offices and, deeper in the building, the library. She pushed open the door and looked around the "lobby", which was really just like the living room to a house. There were couches and tables with chairs. Very home like. On one of the couches in the corner, a familiar man slept. Sidra rolled her eyes and motioned to Roxy for her to follow her. "Ignore him." She said as she motioned to the sleeping Reno and proceeded to the stairwell and down them.
She banged on the library door. "OPEN THE DOOR, HEALER!" She barked. Moving could be heard from inside. "I am coming, Ma'am." The husky voice from inside hummed softly. Sidra rolled her eyes and grumbled under her breath.
Ceol looked at Roxine as Sidra placed her head on the door. "What a day," He muttered softly with an eye roll.

Lights will guide you home, And ignite your bones, And I will try to fix you.
Alia snorted softly to herself. It wasn't really a choice. Sure, in the most basic sense it was. But no, it wasn't a choice. Choosing between life and death wasn't a choice. The human brain was wired to always choose life, to survive for as long as possible. So maybe it wasn't a choice at all. But right now probably wasn't a good time to get philosophical, was it? As cranky as Alia was at the moment, she needed to focus because he was probably going to stab her anyways at this rate.
Jumping slightly as Sephiroth spoke again, Alia's eyes narrowed slightly, irritation flickering in her mind. Was there a reason for the attitude? Jeeze, just because she was a 'minion' or whatever now didn't mean that he needed to be getting such an attitude with her. "Yuffie?" Alia asked absently, "Yeah, I know where she lives. And I guess I can get us there. Can I pick up my stuff first at least?" Like her gun? Alia missed feeling it against her hip. Unlike most of her companions, Alia had always felt more comforted by the gun than anything else. It was a much more effective weapon than the bladed weapons that people like Roxine wielded. Yes, Alia really did prefer her gun.
But Sephiroth didn't need to know that just yet. Alia wasn't going to try and do anything to him for the time being. Not until she could gauge his powers and how easily he could handle her and stuff like that. If it was going to be useless, then she wasn't about to do anything. Alia wasn't that dumb. And she wanted to live, as she had made clear moments ago by choosing Sephiroth over everything that was 'good.' Or whatever.
Celit had to chuckle, glancing over his shoulder at Taikoa. "Getting a little confused, are we?" He teased absently, "Sorry, but my name's not Ceol." He wasn't too worked up by it, in all honesty. She didn't mean anything by it, and Celit had had it happen more than a few times. So no, it wasn't a big deal. But that didn't mean he couldn't tease her about slipping up about his name.
Still smiling contentedly with his hands in his pockets as he wandered along, Celit whistled a jaunty tune for the few moments until Taikoa spoke again. "I don't like him either... I don't think anyone but Alia really does." Celit said absently. "Something about him weirds me out. And Rox really doesn't like him for sure. I think something's up with him. But we should give him the benefit of the doubt, I suppose." He was rambling, of course. But he really needed to think how he felt about the guest through, and Taikoa seemed as good a person as anyone to bounce ideas off of.
"Can you see his future?" Celit asked absently, glancing at his companion. She had mentioned being able to see the future, right? Or maybe he was going crazy. Wouldn't surprise him.
Finally, Roxine's bike skidded to a stop outside the base. She watched with a slight smile as gravel sprayed up from the wheels, chuckling to herself as she leaped down from the bike moments behind Sidra. It had been a bit of a challenge to keep up with her sister's car, but Roxine wouldn't have traded her bike for the world. Even if it was a little on the slow side. Maybe she'd get a newer, faster one eventually. But not for some time yet, Roxine thought to herself as she wandered inside after her sister.
Roxine bit back a laugh as they wandered past Reno, glancing at Sidra with a raised eyebrow. That was some father she had there. Though Roxine was slightly biased; she didn't exactly like Reno, though she'd done her best to like him. But there was something about him that she would never like.
Still, Roxine wandered after her sister absently, humming softly to herself as she followed her sister, gaze flickering about curiously. Most of it didn't look too interesting, but hey, since she was in a position to discover Turk secrets, she'd keep an eye out for anything too interesting. Which there didn't seem to be, unfortunately. But oh well. As they came to a stop before a large door, Roxine glanced at Ceol, shaking her head slightly. "Yeah, let's go with that. I'm just ready for it to be over..." Roxine sighed, pushing her silver bangs out of her eyes. It had been a long day. She was ready to just curl up and go to bed, like Reno had done outside. Though Roxine doubted she'd be able to sleep.
A soft bark alerted Kavi to the arrival of his companions. At his side, two warhounds waited patiently, but it was Forne who had stirred to alert his master. Eerie and Forne weren't exactly the most average looking of warhounds. Forne was clearly a rogue, with damaged and destroyed armor and a rather interesting looking skull. But Eerie, in contrast, was a messenger, with unbroken armor. Whatever Forne had done, he had had done it before he joined Kavi's family, and though it had taken the warhound a long time to warm up to Kavi, now they were inseparable.
Shaking his head, the brunette shoved his slightly darker blonde hair out of his dark green eyes and nodded slightly in Forne's direction, showing that he had heard the canine's warning. "Lily, are you done in there?" Kavi asked with a tinge of exasperation to his voice.
A moment later, a blonde popped out of his office, a bright grin on her face. "There, that should do it." Lily said with a nod, glancing back at the office. She had been putting some finishing touches on it, putting some plants and opening the blinds despite the hour so that her brother's room would be a little brighter, for once. She worried about him spending all that time in that little office with none of the bright light he was used to or needed. Lily would have gone crazy in that little office, and she knew that he was in there to take care of her, so she did her best to make it look nice.
Kavi shook his head, "C'mon, let's head home, shall we?" Reaching out to ruffle his little sister's hair, the young Turk turned towards the entrance as Lily wrinkled her nose at him.
They walked in silence for a moment before hearing the distant shout of a Turk. Lily glanced at Kavi with a smirk on her face, and though he started shaking his head almost immediately, she grabbed her brother's arm and began to tow him towards the stairs. For his part, he put up a pretty good fight, trying to avoid being dragged towards the Turk woman that he certainly had more than a bit of a crush on. Forne and Eerie stayed out of it, sitting back and laughing with their tongue hanging from their maw. He glared at them as Lily pulled him along and shoved him forward.
Kavi very nearly fell down the stairs, but caught himself mere inches from Ceol, Roxine, and Sidra. Whoops. Blushing slightly, he pushed his hair out of his eyes once more and waved an awkward greeting. "Helloooo." He mumbled awkwardly as Forne and Eerie raced down the stairs behind him. They settled daintily at his feet as Lily wandered down as well, blinking curiously before waving at the odd group, elbowing Kavi lightly.
He shot her a look that could have frozen hell before glancing away again.
And high up above or down below, When you're too in love to let it go, But if you never try you'll never know, Just what you're worth.
